What Fun: "Fiction Addiction" in Cheshire
A terrific reading group, calling itself the Fiction Addiction, discussed Eagle Scouting for their January 7 meeting. I was invited to sit in on their discussion to answer some questions and talk about my writing process. The group was organized by members of a "Meet-up" of Dynamic Professionals formed by Ellen Foster, a 5-foot dynamo who is a super organizer!

"Going Home Again: A Presentation in Bristol, CT"
I had a great time speaking to a wonderful group of women on Nov. 8 about my two books, Eagle Scouting: A Novel and In Flight: A Novel. Thanks to Kimberly Kiniry Lynch and her mom Rosanne Kiniry for hosting me, and Linda Lynch for helping with the event. The discussion, about the many similarities between the two main characters, was called "Going Home Again." I'm available to talk about the new novel - which is a work of fiction about the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and events before and after in Connecticut - or both books, to your reading group, book club, or other organization. I attended the Rockwell Park Summer Festival in Bristol, CT on Saturday, August 16 and talked books with passers-by.
New Imprint for New Book
A new publishing venture, LEFORA Publishing LLC, has been formed by Dawn Leger, Dave Fortier, and Chuck Radda. Among the first books that is scheduled for publication by the company in 2014 is Leger's Eagle Scouting, a novel about 9/11. Creative Writing Workshop
Dawn Leger hosted creative writing group at Artist Tree Tea House on School Street in Bristol. Participants joining this session took part in fun writing exercises and learned new techniques to break through as writers.
